'Mexican Restaurant' Project

In Year 10 at Chaucer Technology School pupils experience using CAD/CAM to design and make a graphic product for a restaurant business. The CAD (Computer Aided Design) element involves using the 'Techsoft 2D Design' application to draw parts for a free standing menu holder that can be slotted together and flat packed. The CAM process (Computer Aided Manufacture) uses the computer-controlled Lasercutter to cut the shapes with precision and accuracy. The theme of the restaurant is Mexican culture.
